DAY 1: FROM SAI GON TO MEKONG DELTA (L, D)

8:00 am, pick up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City by a professional English-speaking tour guide. 

Explore The Largest Mekong Delta Safari

Visit a wildlife park that brings together all wild and semi-wild animal species, creating a semi-natural environment for these animals. Instead of observing animals confined in cages like in other parks, here we can experience sitting on a bus and traveling through the zoo area, witnessing firsthand the seemingly TV-only animal species. Additionally, visitors can interact with friendlier animals, feeding them or petting them (at their own expense for visiting the respective areas).

11:30 am Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, transfer to the Mekong Delta region, known as the "rice bowl" of Vietnam. Explore the picturesque Ben Tre area by boat. Turn on a small canal winding through the coconut jungle, visit a coconut workshop, have a looking stage of coconut processing from husk off, and prize out to peel out by hand. Go on the small waterway and stop at a local house to see feeding bees, and enjoy honey tea. Walking along the canal to the coconut candy workshop, have a look at them making candy by hand, try some sweets, enjoy some fruits and listen to local music as well. Go on by boat, and walk to the farmer’s house who making sleep mats. Drive Tuk-Tuk through coconut grove, and vegetable plains (cucumber, bitter melon...). Keep going by rowboat on the shady palm tree canal

Return to check in at your hotel in Ben Tre Province. In the evening, you have free time to relax or explore the vibrant city on your own.

DAY 2: BEN TRE – TRA VINH ISLAND (B, L, D) 

The beautiful island - Cồn Chim Trà Vinh

7:30 am After breakfast, check out from your hotel and depart to Tra Vinh. Travel distance around 2 hours and half to reach this beautiful island.

Embark on a journey to peaceful Island and capture memorable photos at the village gate. Begin the community-based sightseeing tour following a harmonious route, either by leisurely strolling or cycling along the tranquil village path, immersing yourself in the refreshing atmosphere. Explore various attractions (spending 30 to 45 minutes at each destination)

Nam Bo Ancient Kitchen: Learn about the history and people of Con Chim Island. Indulge in the traditional Five Bean Tea and local sweet treats, sip on refreshing sương sâm (herbal drink), experience traditional boat rowing, and cross the monkey bridge.

Coconut Garden: Marvel at the Coconut Tree-lined path and savor freshly picked coconuts. Admire the blooming flowers and lush rice fields while relishing the pristine countryside ambiance. Here, you'll be guided on how to make coconut leaf baskets, coconut scrapers, and even coconut leaf watches.

Learn how to make leaf cakes

Mrs. Ba's Leaf Cakes: Visit a traditional house adorned with a distinct Mekong Delta vibe. Experience grinding flour using a century-old stone mortar, learn to make leaf cakes, and delight in the flavors while enjoying refreshing pandan-infused drinks.

Traditional Folk Games: Step back into childhood as you engage in familiar traditional games like jump rope, marbles, and hopscotch, along with various other captivating activities.

11:30 am enjoy the tasty lunch with incredible Mekong Delta cuisine in this island.

3:30 pm back to Can Tho City, check-in at ecological resort/Hotel in the heart of Mekong Delta

Enjoy the welcome drink and experience the nice room waiting for you after a long journey.

5:30 pm Get ready for the wonderful night time in Can Tho Downtown

Our guide and minivan pick up for a wonderful experience of Can Tho at night. You are able to sightseeing and try the street foods, enjoy the local cuisine, listen to music and enjoy Vietnamese coffee and other beverages at a local café shop.

DAY 3: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – MEKONG SAFARI - HCMC               (B, L, D)

Visit the Authentic Cai Rang floating market

5:30 am, our professional guide will pick you up at your resort and you will then go to the pier, and embark on the boat to visit the Authentic Cai Rang floating market. The floating market is less busy nowadays but you are able to have the possibility to experience a unique river life ever without commercial.

6:00 am, Cai Rang Floating Market

As you arrive, you will be astonished by the number of boats sailing around and trading a variety of products. You wonder how such a trading spot can survive in a developing city as Can Tho? Our professional tour guides will be here to answer all your questions! Enjoy a hot Vietnamese coffee and delicious fruits, freshly prepared by some local sellers on their boats. You will then go through the small canals, and enjoy the peace and beauty of this region!

The beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda

Car transfer back to Sai Gon - Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most ancient and beautiful pagodas in the Mekong Delta region. Admire the stunning architecture and tranquil surroundings. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the Dong Tam snake farm, where you can learn about different species of snakes and their significance in Vietnamese culture (optional).
